Air Fryer baked potato
Is there any better side dish than a baked potato? A family-friendly vegetable option, spuds only gets easier (and crispier!) when prepared in an air fryer. That's right, there's no need to preheat an oven (or your whole kitchen); these potatoes bake up fast and crispy. Fluffy baked potatoes make a perfect weeknight side dish for a pan-fried ribeye, roast chicken, or on its own, loaded with toppings!
Cooking time:
55 minutes
- Prick each potato 3 to 4 times with a fork.
- Using a pastry brush, brush the olive oil evenly all over each potato.
- Sprinkle the salt and pepper all over the potatoes
- Set the potatoes in the basket of an air fryer, leaving a little space between each.
- Cook at 400°F for 30 minutes.
- Flip the potatoes and continue to cook for another 20 to 25 minutes or until the potatoes are soft.
- Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Cut a thin slice through the top of each potato. Fluff the inside of each with a fork.
- Top each with a pat of butter and a sprinkle of chives.
